The Barbados Golf Club is located in Durants in the southern parish of Christ Church on this gorgeous Caribbean island.

It is a stunning venue and the course was sanctioned and approved by the PGA European Tour to host a PGA Seniors Tournament in 2003 and it has also hosted the Barbados Open on several occasions. In recent years the course has undergone environmentally sensitive reconstruction by the world renowned course architect Ron Kirby and was reopened in 2000. This development has created a challenging but fair and pleasurable game for golfers of all abilities. This tropical course is indeed stunning with its beautiful water features and superb fauna and flora.

The course features 2 “Returning Nines” which finish into an expansive and unique triple green that wraps seamlessly around a stunning lake. The magnificent trees that were planted some 25 years ago and the more recent landscape developments blend together perfectly to give the course a mix of both mature ambience as well as a contemporary feel. Two lakes and a series of coral waste bunkers add to the excitement and add unique personality to the course.

The club is actively encouraging ladies to play and has its “Bunker Babes Initiative”. Here ladies learn the etiquette of the course and develop their golf game. The club is known as the main promoter and supporter of Ladies’ Golf on the island.
