Established in 1992 and opened by Irish star, David Feherty and European Ryder Cup captain, Bernard Gallacher, Mentmore Golf and Country Club lies in the shadow of Mentmore Towers, the magnificent country home built for Baron Meyer Amschel de Rothschild.

Mentmore Golf and Country Club was designed to create two first class 18-hole Championship Golf Courses and a peaceful country club for its Members and guests to relax in. The two superb 18-hole courses, The Rothschild and The Rosebery are played over rolling parkland and feature lakes, woods and spinneys. All greens have been constructed to USGA specification and sown with Penncross Bent grass, which gives an excellent year round putting surface. Both courses provide a challenging but enjoyable test of skill for every calibre of golfer and are maintained to the highest possible standards by an exceptionally dedicated and knowledgeable green keeping team using the most modern equipment.

Mentmore Golf & Country Club has been created to be challenging for all levels of play, from beginners to professionals. Before you step onto the courses, you will admire the setting as the Club is set in 365 acres of the most picturesque Buckinghamshire countryside overlooking the Vales of Aylesbury and Chiltern Hills.

Mentmore Golf & Country Club also boasts a state-of-the-art gym, indoor pool, spa, sauna, and steam room, along with two all-weather tennis courts for social or competitive play. The Clubhouse is set in the middle of the spectacular estate and from its upper terrace boasts splendid views of the open countryside. The interior is spacious and luxuriously furnished, though informal in atmosphere. Its bars and lounges offer the chance for Members and visiting guests to relax completely.

The elegant restaurant provides a comfortable environment in which to enjoy the excellent cuisine. Upstairs, a large banqueting suite can accommodate up to 120 guests for private or golf day functions. A friendly welcome awaits all members and visitors as they enter our Reception.
