Paultons was established in 1992 and is located on the edge of the New Forest National Park near to the picturesque town of Romsey.

It was built within the original Paultons Estate and laid out by Capability Brown. It offers 27 holes of woodland and classic parkland golf. The front and back loops of the 18 - hole course are quite different with the front nine being longer and more open and the back being tighter with tree lined fairways. Watch out for the tricky signature 15th over the water. The course measures 5,591 yards from the Red tees. The clubhouse enjoys fabulous views over the course and surrounding areas. It is widely regarded as one of the best “all year round” courses in the area.

As well as the 18 - hole course, there is also a 9 - hole Par 3 course measuring 1,324 yards, a floodlit 24 bay driving range, pitching and putting greens as well as the Crown Coaching Academy. Both courses are maintained by experienced greens staff and stay in excellent condition throughout the year. The Pro Shop is well stocked and the knowledgeable staff will help customers make the right choices.

After a round of golf, there is nothing better than enjoying a drink and a meal in the splendid clubhouse with its magnificent views and if you haven’t had enough walking, why not go into the nearby National Park and see the native ponies grazing amongst the gorse and heather.
