Ben Williams

Birchwood Park Golf Centre

Ben began his golf career at the age of 12 and quickly gained his first handicap.

Within a year, Ben was playing off single figures and at the age of 15, he joined the prestigious Royal Blackheath Golf Club. Representing the club, Ben won many junior competitions and at the age of 17 started a 2 year course at the golf college under the close eye of Sky Sport’s Dennis Pugh. Throughout the 2 years, Ben was seen every week by Dennis and all aspects of the game from both a player and coaches point of view were covered. In his first year at Birchwood, he broke the course record twice with a 64 and a 63!

After leaving the golf college at the age of 19, Ben went on to become a gym instructor mainly studying exercises within golf. This lead him to becoming a golf professional at the tender age of 20.

Since turning professional, Ben has played in a number of professional events and gained numerous top 10 finishes. He is looking to continue this in future years whilst helping others to get the most out of their games.

Ben's teaching techniques are right up to date, using the very best technology and gadgets including high speed cameras and touch screen software and can send videos and notes to any email address or smart phone before your arrival home.

Ben says, 'I'm a modern coach with traditional values, I get a buzz from improving golfers and am always flexible, so if you want to lower your handicap or just get started, why not give me a call and book your first lesson in today?'
