Etchinghill Golf Club

Etchinghill Golf Club is set in 150 acres of idyllic Kentish countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are 27 holes at Etchinghill as well as a 9 hole par 3 course.

The main 18 hole course is situated in a downland setting and the valley course consists of 9 holes that can be played from 18 tee positions. Look out for 185 yard 9th hole on the Valley course which has stunning views of the Elham Valley and a parachute like descent to the green which is protected by water. The par 3 course is ideal for beginners. The Etchinghill course is Par 72 measuring 5,363 yards from the Red Tees and the Valley course is 2,817 yards. The club was first opened in 1995 with the extra 9 holes being added in 2000. It is easily accessible and is just 1 mile north of Junction 12 on the M20 close to Folkestone.

The clubhouse is large and welcoming and can seat up to 70 people. A friendly atmosphere is guaranteed and breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea are served in the main dining area, out on the patio or in the conservatory. The Sunday Carvery is very popular.

There is a 15 bay floodlit, covered driving range with automated ball machines as well as a short game practice area incorporating bunker play and a 9 hole putting green to test long and short putts. The club is particularly welcoming to ladies.

Ladies, why not treat yourselves to a splendid afternoon tea after your game and enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches, homemade cakes and scones with cream and jam – delicious! Or maybe you might like to venture into Folkestone after your game and see some its many attractions.
