Hever Castle Golf Club is set in 250 acres of Kentish countryside in the mature grounds of the Hever Castle Estate.

Golf has been played on the site since the 1920's although the Championship course was not opened until 1992. It is a truly wonderful setting for a special golf club where one cannot fail to be inspired.

It’s incredible that the golf club is only a short drive from junction 5 and 6 of the M25 and yet once reached it definitely has the feel of being “Far from the Madding Crowd”.

It comprises 3 distinct 9s with the Kings and Queens 9s combining to form The Championship course and as it features numerous teeing positions it can become a gentler, fairer and truly enjoyable test for golfers of all abilities. For ladies, this plays to 5,716 yards and is Par 73. There is also the delightful 9 hole Princes course which is a real gem and was designed by David Wood and opened in 1998. Accuracy is key to playing here and the par 3 sixth hole is a real star, not only is it picturesque but it presents a tough challenge over water. The course is 2,446 yards with a par of 34. Ladies, you will love it!

The club boasts the Castle Golf School which has outstanding practice facilities and provides the perfect environment to learn how to play golf or to fine tune one’s skills.

A game of golf would not be complete without visiting the grand Tudor style Club House which features the Astor Lounge and restaurant as well as the 19th bar which have undergone full refurbishment recently. The terrace is delightful and has far reaching panoramic views of the golf course. It is the perfect place to enjoy lunch or tea and a glass or two of wine.
