Cottesmore Hotel Golf
& Country Club

The club is set in beautiful Sussex countryside and boasts 36 holes of golf. The Griffin course is the most challenging of the two with the Phoenix being shorter and caters perfectly for the new golfer.

The courses take advantage of the wonderful surroundings and were originally designed by the famous Landscape Architect, Capability Brown.

The club was established in 1975 by the Rogerson family on the site of a farm attached to Cottesmore School. The Griffin course is 5,316 yards, Par 72 and is designed around two lakes with the fairways being lined with rhododendrons, silver birch, oak and chestnut trees. The Phoenix plays 4,348 yards, Par 68 and is certainly more forgiving. The club is easily accessible from the M23 and is only 15 minutes from Gatwick.

A friendly and warm welcome is standard and the club boasts excellent practice facilities including a driving range. The pro shop is really well stocked and has a super ladies section. Club hire is available for our new lady golfers and when ready to take the next step, a custom club fitting service is available. The club house dates back to the nineteenth century and there is a bar and restaurant.
